    With the hypervelocity kinetic weapon and hypersonic cruise missiles research projects being carried out, the damage mechanism for high-velocity/hypervelocity projectile impact on semi-infinite targets has become the research keystone in impact dynamics. Theoretical research progress in high-velocity/hypervelocity impact on semi-infinite targets was reviewed in this paper. The evaluation methods for critical velocity of high-velocity and hypervelocity impact were summarized. The crater shape, crater scaling laws and empirical formulae, and simplified analysis models of crater parameters for spherical projectiles impact on semi-infinite targets were reviewed, so were the long rod penetration state differentiation, penetration depth calculation models for the semifluid, and deformed long rod projectiles. Finally, some research proposals were given for further study

    Marked methylation changes in intestinal genes during the perinatal period of preterm neonates

    BACKGROUND: The serious feeding- and microbiota-associated intestinal disease, necrotizing enterocolitis (NEC), occurs mainly in infants born prematurely (5-10% of all newborns) and most frequently after formula-feeding. We hypothesized that changes in gene methylation is involved in the prenatal maturation of the intestine and its response to the first days of formula feeding, potentially leading to NEC in preterm pigs used as models for preterm infants. RESULTS: Reduced Representation Bisulfite Sequencing (RRBS) was used to assess if changes in intestinal DNA methylation are associated with formula-induced NEC outbreak and advancing age from 10 days before birth to 4 days after birth. Selected key genes with differentially methylated gene regions (DMRs) between groups were further validated by HiSeq-based bisulfite sequencing PCR and RT-qPCR to assess methylation and expression levels. Consistent with the maturation of many intestinal functions in the perinatal period, methylation level of most genes decreased with advancing pre- and postnatal age. The highest number of DMRs was identified between the newborn and 4 d-old preterm pigs. There were few intestinal DMR differences between unaffected pigs and pigs with initial evidence of NEC. In the 4 d-old formula-fed preterm pigs, four genes associated with intestinal metabolism (CYP2W1, GPR146, TOP1MT, CEND1) showed significant hyper-methylation in their promoter CGIs, and thus, down-regulated transcription. Methylation-driven down-regulation of such genes may predispose the immature intestine to later metabolic dysfunctions and severe NEC lesions. CONCLUSIONS: Pre- and postnatal changes in intestinal DNA methylation may contribute to high NEC sensitivity in preterm neonates. Optimizing gene methylation changes via environmental stimuli (e.g. diet, nutrition, gut microbiota), may help to make immature newborn infants more resistant to gut dysfunctions, both short and long term.     A Spatio-Temporal Attention Graph Convolutional Networks for Sea Surface Temperature Prediction

    Sea surface temperature (SST) is an important index to detect ocean changes, predict SST anomalies, and prevent natural disasters caused by abnormal changes, dynamic variation of which have a profound impact on the whole marine ecosystem and the dynamic changes of climate. In order to better capture the dynamic changes of ocean temperature, it’s vitally essential to predict the SST in the future. A new spatio-temporal attention graph convolutional network (STAGCN) for SST prediction was proposed in this paper which can capture spatial dependence and temporal correlation in the way of integrating gated recurrent unit (GRU) model with graph convolutional network (GCN) and introduced attention mechanism. The STAGCN model adopts the GCN model to learn the topological structure between ocean location points for extracting the spatial characteristics from the ocean position nodes network. Besides, capturing temporal correlation by learning dynamic variation of SST time series data, a GRU model is introduced into the STAGCN model to deal with the prediction problem about long time series, the input of which is the SST data with spatial characteristics. To capture the significance of SST information at different times and increase the accuracy of SST forecast, the attention mechanism was used to obtain the spatial and temporal characteristics globally. In this study, the proposed STAGCN model was trained and tested on the East China Sea. Experiments with different prediction lengths show that the model can capture the spatio-temporal correlation of regional-scale sea surface temperature series and almost uniformly outperforms other classical models under different sea areas and different prediction levels, in which the root mean square error is reduced by about 0.2 compared with the LSTM model
